"I knew of him when I worked at Harborview Med center years ago. He had a wonderful reputation. After meeting him one on one, I felt that he exuded caring and competence. The office staff are all very nice and helpful. Their program is so popular however, that it has taken me from mid February of this year to a couple of weeks ago, to get worked up and get a date for surgery. However the surgery is for the end of January of 2009. I understand that the problem is mostly centered around the hospital itself not giving the surgical bariatric center enough OR time to accomidate all the people wanting surgery there. Aftercare is manditory, You must sign a contract to adhere to the schedule of visits after surgery, and for the rest of your life. I had done a lot of research, but they answered all my questions and addressed all the surgical risks."
