Finally a date has been set for June 4th .. I can't believe it.  My husband and I went through some job changes, currently I am unemployed with the mortgage industry.  I talked to my husband and indicated that I would like to have the surgery during the time that I am off work and receiving pay from my other company.  He agreed.  Well a long time later and him loosing his job too,  and several insurance issues, we decided to take the money out of savings and pay for the procedure/surgery ourselves.  Goodness knows how much this will help my health in the long run and how much it will help with my job search.  I know that many of you out there know that there is reverse discimination when it come to heavy people when interviewing for a job.   Even though they are not suppose to I believe many interviewers look at a heavy person and think of a health risk, time off, insurance, etc. when interviewing someone no matter the qualifications.  You may disagree by this is what I believe.  

Needless to say I am throughly excited about my journey.  This is something I have been wanting to do for quite sometime and our means and timing has allowed us to do so.  

Thank you all for your stories that I have been able to read to help me out, with my decision.
