I had my gastric sleeve surgery last Monday and I am back at  work and doing pretty good. I am in a great mood so that's a plus. I have my ups and downs with my belly hurting but nothing I can't handle. I have heard from many friends on here and in person that with-in a month you are back to normal with your feelings so the count down is on. I would like to give a big shout out to my friend Christine for having my back on this and being an inspiration through it all. Love you girl.

Oh yeah. I have lost 35 lbs so far with the pre-op diet losing me the first 18lbs.

I am scheduled for Surgery on April 16th. I am so excited I can't hardly sit in my seat!!!! I have a pre-op appt. on monday and 26th and then will start my pre-op diet. I am so greatful that God has given me this chance at a new me. THANK YOU LORD!!!!

So the insurance company is really bumming me out!! We have the kinda insurance that you pay a deductible and then they start covering things. Until your deductible is met you pay 100% out of pocket after met you have a max. of $2400.00  out of pocket. That's not bad at all but with this insurance weight loss surgery is covered with a $5000.00 deductible and 20% of the after deductible is met. So boo! But I have gotten over that. I have applied for a couple of extra jobs to help come up with the money and I am full force goal bond and now the insurance company is not putting the money to the right deductible and they are saying that the money I pay the doctor doesn't all go towards it. It is just crazy. Why have insurance???? I think I am about to go to Mexico and get this done already. Not really but it is an option.

On the other hand it has been a great Monday thus far and I am putting in the hands of the Lord. Hope you all have a great day:)
