Well, it's been 8 days since the surgery.  I am feeling pretty good.  This was the 3rd day I woke with no pain and just had a little pain if I pushed myself a little too much.
I know I've lost some weight, as my pants and clothes are very loose.  I don't have a scale, so I will have to check when I go over to my sister's house.  
I see the nurse and the nut tomorrow for my follow up. I think they will be happy with where I am.

I am just having such a hard time with the protein shakes.... they just don't sit right.  

Everyday is better and better.  I can't wait to start moving and exercising more and have no more restrictions.

This stage 2 diet before surgery is no joke.   It is so tough with all the temptations around, but I am doing it!
 
Less then 2 weeks away....Sooooooo nervous!! :D 

Today was another great day.  The letter from Harvard Pilgrim came in.  APPROVED!!   Surgery is a GO!!   

 Today I got the phone call I was waiting for. . . 

SEPTEMBER 28, 2009!!

I am so nervous, scared, excited and overwhelmed all at once.  Feels like forever sometimes, and others it feels like its happening all too fast.
