I have done what in the past has been impossible - I have now lost over 100 pounds and I feel wonderful - I have not felt this great in years. I have so many clothes that are way to big - things I could barely get into. I am so happy my husband and I have been doing a great deal of walking lately and this is just adding to my weight loss. I promise I will have new pictures by next weeek - after my 6 month dr's appointment - I can honestly say - you will not even recognize me. I look completely different.
OH MY GOD Becky - look at her butt - it is not as huge....

Well - Sir Mix Alot may like big butts - but I am not lying when I say I do not - and mine is slowly shrinking...YIPEE!!! I am so happy I have been super busy and on the run - I need to get new picture posted. I am just shy of

Well - am very busy these days - I just started a part-time job. I am enjoying the difference between my full and part-time job. I move around a lot at the part-time job. I have to save money for a week long trip this summer for my oldests softball. It will also help with the discount at school shopping time for next year. I do have my 3 month check up coming up in May - so, I am anxious for that. I feel great - no problems and I am easily getting all my protien and liquids in.

I am sooooo excited I can't even begin to tell you - I am down 46lbs and 24 inches. Down from a 10w in shoes to a 9 1/2. I am down 2 jean sizes. I also bought and wore something - I have not worn since high school - a belt. I felt like a real person - not somebody being stared at because I was fat. I finally added my before photos and plan to add my new ones this weekend. I am so excited to see the difference myself - I can't wait!!!

According to my scale - I am down 35lbs - for 3 weeks - I don't think that is too shabby. I am very excited. Looks like I will be going back to work on March 15 or 19. I have to decide how much vacation time or unpaid time I want to take. I am slowly feeling ready to head back. I think once I am working - weight will continue to drop at a steady rate. My hubby actually has started doing a bit of excersising - It is really nice here today in Omaha - We are planning on taking a walk later on. I used to walk this route with a neighbor before surgery - but, we have not walked it for a while - so maybe he will want to walk it with me now - then we can add to it. Well 5 more pounds to go for my 1st goal. Once I go to the dr - I will measure again and see how many inches I have lost as well. Funny thing - my shoe size went from a 10w to a comfortable 9 1/2. So, that makes me happy - my oldest and I can share shoes for sure now - without the worry of me stretching them out.

I started soft solids today - all is going well - I can't wait to have some tuna or chicken salad. I can wear jeans - I have not worn for a while - In fact they are the largest pair I own - but, I refused to by the 2 sizes up that I would have fit. My shirts are getting looser so, all is going very well. Just waiting for more food variety and my 6 week visit - to make sure I am on track - then I will be heading back to the real world. I do miss work at times - but, I am enjoying relaxing through this at home.

So far everything has gone better than I could have expected. I just have a bit of pain on my left side other than that I am getting throught it. My gallbladder was taken out as well - I just wanted to let everybody know I am home and doing very well.

Ok - the big day is finally here - I can't wait. I have gotten through today fine. Really didn't have too many problems with not eating and drinking the bowel cleaner. I was surprised at how easy it went down. I only felt a little sick after taking 8 pills within a 2 hour time period with no food in my tummy - but, I told myself I wasn't going to get sick. - I didn't. My husband came home for lunch and made himself a burrito that looked so good. He did offer to eat in another room - but, I said
it was fine. I did watch him eat - and the scarey part was - one of his bites - was my future meal. I was fascinated with that. I could have had 10 -15 meals from his 1. I hope when my eating habits change - It will help everyone in the house eat better and make better choices.

Pre - Op...

Ok....so I went for all the fun pre-op stuff yesturday. Looks like I will have to have my gallbladder removed too. I was told I have a rock in it. Nice, they were freaking out wondering if I had any symptoms. Guess I did, just wasn't aware that was what was going on. Dr. said he would take it out - as long as my anatomy allowed for it - otherwise - I would have to have it removed at another time. I am hoping it can all be taken care of at the same time. Other than that, everything went really well.

Ok - So, after 2 months - I finally have my profile where I want and am ready to make new friends. I have my pre-op on Monday January 22 - I am ready to start my new life. I was originally scheduled for surgery on January 17 - but due to an insurance mix up - I was not approved until January 8 - rather ironic considering 15 years ago on that day - I went into labor with my first child. I was lucky that my Drs office was aware of what was going on - so they had assured me I wouldn't have much of a wait after my approval.
