10/30/2006 Well, my BA/BL surgery has been scheduled for December 8th, 2006 and I am now having to have an endometriel abaltion the beginning of January as well. These past few weeks have been hell, I lost my dad to the side effects of radation therapy to fight his lung cancer. I miss my dad everyday but I am learning to deal with it. Now I still have college and work that I have managed to do every day. I am taking my national boards for Surgical Technology on December 7th, 2006 as well too. Anything that could happen has happened to me and somehow I manage to survive. There were people at my father's funeral that had not seen my in several years and they kept mistakening me for my sister who is 10 years younger than me and just so pretty! It was a boost to my self confidence. I am not so great about updating my page. But I started out weighing 244 lbs, my surgoen's goal for me was 129 lbs, I am 5'2. At my lowest I weighed 111 lbs and now I stay between 113-119 lbs. I am happy there and I admit, no I do not work out on a daily basis. I got a stationary bike that I do plan to start using sometime soon though. I will up date after my preop appointment for my PS in November. Wish me luck!
