My Story begins. I am 52 years young and have been overweight since I was a senior in high school.I entered the Air Force Reserves and even then I was right at the borderline for my height and age .I met my husband while I was on active duty and we are happy to say still married. my 20's were difficult I had trouble concieving and went thru infertility and was very lucky I had a son Bryant who is the joy of my life. Then I had a stillborn in 1984 her name was Tracey very difficult I new at 27 week she had a nurel tube defect and I had to wait to deliver at 40 weeks ,the I had and etopic pregnancy at 16week and shortly afer was pregnant again, When 16 weeks care I had test amnio and wouldnt you know same thing,back then I had to wait until 30 week to have Matthew born he was 10weeks premature and lived 1 month and 10 days. so I really kinda started to fill the emptiness with food I really have ballooned to 304 lbs and I am have trouble with my legs ,back, hypertension and mild sleep apnea and I realy do not want to live in pain .I am so excited to get a surgery date and look forward to my new life. I have been lucky to have my family and friends who support me and hoping to be able to do pysical activity once again . .
