Well my name is Karen and im 23 years old. Iv'e been struggling with my weight since i was a little kid. About 7months ago my mom told me that she was getting the surgery, and that made me think.. well maybe I should get it done. I work for a big company and this women who I know had the surgery, I started talking to her and she recommended the barrix clinics. The next day I started researching and I made a appointment. I went for an orientation and I immediatley knew this was the right thing for me. It has been moving really fast. I got a call and they told me my date for surgery is 9/30/2008. I couldn't beleive it. I had just gone for the orientation 2months prior to getting that phone call. I can't wait, I am very anxious and nervous but thrilled to start a whole new healthy and happy life.
