Due to a bad case of brochitis, my surgery set for January 27th, 2015 was rescheduled for Tuesday Feb. 3, 2015.

My revision surgery from lap band to gastric sleeve is officially set for Tuesday January 27th 2015. My pre-ops are tuesday January 20th 2015.

Due to 8 ulcers found in stomach during examination to find out why I am anemic, the specialist found 8 "active" ulcers. So, my surgery is postponed until they have healed. We are waiting 3 or 4 months and then do another upper GI to check the ulcers at that time. New surgery date to be rescheduled, I will update at that time. In the meantime, pain medication (800 mg. Ibuprophen) for knees and back has been discontinued and replaced with Tylenol for Arthritis, Celebrex and Prilocec.

 

My revision surgery is January 28, 2014. I have to set it up to coinside with my husband's and my daughter's vacations, since I babysit my twin grandsons for her, and my husband is going to ask for time off to help me around the house. I am so excited to be looking at a healthier future after not doing well at all with this Lap Band that I have been dealing with for the passed 6+ years.

Since my surgery (Lap Band), 2 months ago, I have lost 34 lbs. and 2 pants sizes. 

The pain in my lower back (degenerative disc disease) is totally gone. 

I am looking forward to setting the meds. aside that I take for high blood pressure and diabetes.
