"The first time I met Dr. Mary, I knew I had made the right selection for my surgeon. She was kind and attentive and answered every question I had (I brought a list with me).
Once I had my surgery and was in the hospital, she checked in with me often and made sure I was comfortable. She has a great bedside manner and really put me at ease. She also spoke with my family after my surgery and gave them the assurance they needed.
Not only is Dr. Mary an excellent surgeon but she is a fine person as well. She is sensative and supportive and you know she is in your corner and wants to see each patient succeed.
Also, the staff at Pacific Bariatric are very sweet, but very busy. I have had some frustration due to their multiple phone numbers and knowing who to call for different items (there is a pre-surgery # and a post surgery #). However, for a doctor's office they do a fine job. "
"This was my first hospital stay and it wasn't bad overall. The nurses were very sweet and helpful and I was given plenty of pain meds. My only complaint was that I was given a non-WLS roommate who ate alot of smelly food. "
