"I had my initial consultation with Dr. Bauman today and was truly impressed with everything about him and his practice. He was very informative and I could clearly tell that his patients are top priority, from start to finish. His staff as well was polite and very helpful. They cover everything. If you have unanswered questions when you leave, it is your fault. I did not feel rushed. I felt like I was the only person he had on the books. I liked everything about him. He is very compassionate about WLS. No question about that. Aftercare is, and should be, one of the most emphasized aspects of WLS and Dr. Bauman (& Dr. Pirello) make no bones about letting you know what they expect. I went to the LapBand seminar on 2/7 and Dr. Pirello held the meeting. It was very informative and I would recommend it to anyone desiring WLS. Risks of surgery were covered and explained. I would rate him a 15 on a scale of 1-10. That is how impressed I was with all aspects of my initial consultation, from start to finish. Very knowledgable physicians and very helpful and caring staff...I would recommend him to anyone..Best on the East Coast..and I cannot wait until I get my surgery date..."
