I had open RNY on jan 15 2004. I had some very bad complications that I almost died from. After 3 years of post-op it is as if I never had the surgery. I am constantly hungry and I have gained all but 50 pounds of it back. I have had a hernia removed and they say there is another one. I am hoping to get a revision done in Dec. I know I must be nuts right since I had such a bad experience with the first one but I do believe it was my surgeon and I want it to work. I am a lot older now than i was and I want my life back.
