Hi Kricket, I was just going over some old book-marked sites I had, and saw you again. Wow, you've done amazingly! Just wanted to say congratulations. I'm 2 years out as of Saturday, and I seem to be at a stand-still; so you inspire me, that I may still lose more. Thanks!! Desiree

Kricket...it is such a pleasure to work alongside you. It is even more of a pleasure to be your friend. I love our late nite chats & the laffs we share. Its the perfect ending to my day, to have spent time with you & I value that time tremendously. I especially love the jokes you tell. I volunteered to work with you because I wanted to give back to AMOS what AMOS has given to me, altho the scales of give & take certainly slant in favor of what AMOS gives to all of us. I signed up as an AMOS member in May of 2001, when membership was under 8,000 people. To see it as it is today, 150,000+ members who have all become one family, all the resources, all the educational links, tips & hints, the amazing amount of support we all give each other, etc etc, makes me so proud to tell people I am associated with AMOS. You are always quick to pat someone on the back while being very modest about the contributions you, yourself make. I wonder how many of our siblings are aware of the amount of time (16 hours at least) you spend sitting at your computer, putting up photos, editing photos, checking the editing that we, your volunteers, have done so you can post the pics to profiles & just being an integral part of AMOS on the whole. We, your volunteer staff, could not do the job we do if it werent for your patience with us when we are in training or when you ask (never tell) us to learn something new to make the photos of AMOS even more exciting. Thank you so much Kricket, for being who you are & for the friendship you & I share. <<action>> Sheryl stands up in the middle of 150,000+ wls sisters & brothers & gives Kricket a standing ovation! PLEASE...wont the rest of you join me in patting Kricket on the back for a job very well done?

Hi Kricket! Wow! What an inspiration you are to me! Thank you SO for sharing that the weight loss doesn't necessarily stop after a certain time period. I've lost 47 lbs since surgery 2 months ago today but I've over 220 lbs to lose so have been worried that I haven't lost more. But you did and my weight loss has been similar to your so far. This gives me so much hope! Thank you!!!
