Ooooookay. My name's Krissie. I'm nineteen years young, and have recently grown to be very interested in the Lap Band surgery. My family and I looked into it, and I had an appointment to meet with my surgeon on Friday, June 5th. I learned that with my weight continuing to grow, and my history of being overweight, I'm definitely a good candidate for the surgery. You don't know how happy I was to hear those words! I found this site, and wanted to communicate with people who have had the surgery, or plan to have it soon. I'm hoping to have a surgery date set by the end of July!
