Hey everyone! My name is Kristin but everyone calls me Kris. It's currently 7/3/13 and I just finished a bariatric seminar. I'm almost positive that I will have surgery within the next 2 months. I'm hoping to have a successful journey and learn from others what to do or not to do. I will be having a consultation with my surgeon within a month where I will take the surgeon's advise as to whether or not I will do the gastric sleeve or lap band. Currently I weigh 266lbs at 5'3", giving me a BMI of 47. I should be in the 20's in order to be considered "normal". Wishing everyone luck and happiness on their surgeries along with their post-op challenges/success. I'm looking forward to being a part of this online community!!
