I had my 1st post op today. I lost 21 lbs!! I think I can live on liquids a little longer!! 

I feel good, alot better then i did a few days ago! My lungs are still sore, I see the lung specialist on Friday, so hopefully that goes well.

I got home today, poblems with my lungs after the anestesia. They still hurt, and I get out of breath real easy. Having a hard time thinking i can live with all liquids for 2 weeks more. I am so sick of broth already. My incissions dont bother me to much a little sore, not bad. Nausea one time, i drank to much. Feel like I have to burp and cant, alot. I had hiccups for 1 /2 days after surgery! 

just glad to be home, so i can at least sleep all night.

I have surgery at 10:30 am, hoping to be home tomorrow! Wish me luck!

I survived the 1st day of all liquids, but had to eat some pudding this afternoon and a little pineapple, thought i was going to pass out. I cant drink the shakes. i had a sandwich tonight, and a little shells and cheese. I drank 10 glasses of crystal light today so i spent the majority of the day either going to the bathroom, thinking about going to the bathroom or coming back from going to the bathroom! still no pepsi or cigarettes, that is a plus in itself.

It is confirmed! Surgery will be Monday Feb 5. Had my pre-op today, then was off to the hospital for the lab work, EKG, chest X-ray, etc etc. 

It will be a long weekend on liquids, but worth it in the end!! have to stay positive!! I gave up my pepsi habit, so that has to be a plus!

I cant wait to get started with the rest of my life!

If the hospital has room monday feb 5, that will be the day. I will find out tomorrow sometime, then will have my pre-op right away and start the liquid diet up until surgery. That scares me a little.

I recieved a call today from the RN from my insurance questioning my upcoming procedure! She told my labpand was approved!! 
I wasnt able to get through to my doctors office to see what is next! I am excited and scared at the same time!

I am waiting for my health insurance to respond for approval of my lap band, I am trying to be patient but it is so hard!
