Revision

Aug 28, 2015

i recently has a revision to my pouch on 08/25/2015. I initially went back to Dr. Wood and he refused to do it. I really gave up thinking that I could never get past this place I have been stuck in for 3 years. I exercise 4x per week. I try to watch my diet but of course I slip up.

When I had the first surgery I weighed 378 lbs. this time around I am at 292.

My coworker suggested that I see Jamokey Taylor for a second opinion. He worked under Dr. Wood whe. I had my first surgery which put me at ease since he knew the technique used. He was very pleasant, down to earth. He did a scope on me and determined that my stoma was enlarged which allowed me to eat more. He performed the surgery. An adjustment on my tool. I can feel full sooner again. I'm pretty happy though very sore. Will check in later

New Start to Old Surgery

Jun 27, 2011

I had bariatric surgery in 2003.  I quickly lost 85 lbs.  I slowly gained back 60 over a period of time.  Fortunely I have lost that 60lbs and now I am working to lose 100 more.  I really have to work at keeping my weight off through diet and exercise.  The surgery saved my life but is is still only a tool.  I will always have to work at it.  The moment I stop thinking about it I gain.
