Robert Marema

"I first met Dr. Marema at an information seminar. He came across as very competent, compassionate, passionate and humorous. When I met him for my pre op, I felt completely comfortable with chosing him to perform my procedure. His staff knows what it takes to get the job done. They work together with the end result in mind. Violet organized everything. Abbe and Justine prepared me for the upcoming nutrition and exercise requirements. Joy gave me insight as to what to expect during my hospital visit. It seems obvious to me that Dr. Marema and his partners allow their staff to do what they do best. Each person's job has significance in the treatment of obesity. U.S. Bariatrics is a stong advocate for aftercare. The pre op and post op care is one of the main reasons why I chose to seek their care. I also believe that the whole body needs to be treated. I look forward to my journey. Once the band is in place, the real work begins. I am just at the start of my journey. The only negative part would be the distance from my home. I live about 3 1/2 hours away, so scheduling follow up may pose some difficulties. Expecially with post op seminars that are held in the evenings. I would suggest a day time series to be offered to those who must travel. "

Holy Cross Hospital (COE)

"I arrived for my procedure in the early hour of 5:30. The main entrance was lit up with the most gorgeous stained glass I've ever witnessed. I had Sister Margaret pray with me, the crucifx at my beside, I received communion and was annointed with the rite of the sick by Father Bob. My nurses, Michelle in OP, Linda, Dianne, Sandra, Doreen and Desi treated me with dignity and kindness. I couldn't have asked for better care. Dr. Marema did a phenomenal job too. Thank you too all who made my breif stay at Holy Cross a complete success"
