My new life began on 04/06/05 when Dr. Rohrschieb gave me the cirle of hope! (Lap Band) My pre surgery weight was 252.5 and as of today 08/30/05 I'm at 222. This surgery was not covered by Insurance but it was the best investment I've ever made for MY SELF. It has given me a fresh start on life. It's given me the will to want to lose the weight and to continue to lose the weight. Yes I have ups and downs still but not near like before. I do want you to know that the Lap Band is a Tool to help you lose weight. It cannot do it on it's own, you have to help it. But you are fuller quicker.
