Well,  I can't believe it's been 7 years.    Still no regrets.    I have plateaued and can't seem to lose the last 25 pounds that I would like to but I am down to 4 prescription meds from the 12 that I used to take.  I work out regularly and feel great.   Hopefully you don't think the surgery is a miracle cure, but I highly recommend it to those that have tried everything else and need that little extra help.    It has done me wonders.   Now if the plastic surgery weren't so damn expensive.   LOL

Just thought I'd put a little update in here.  It's been 4 years since my surgery and NO regrets.  I did have some complications immediately after surgery,  but got through those and things have been awesome since then.  I had started putting some weight back on until i got serious about working out.  I have now lost 120 pounds.  I would like to lose 20 more,  but it isn't easy.  The surgery has done it's job though.  I was on 12 medications before surgery for various conditions.  Today I am on 5.  I feel great.  I am beginning to seriously think about plastic surgery.  I haven't tried getting the insurance to pay for plastic surgery yet, but that will come.  If anyone is reading this,  I encourage you not to be afraid of this surgery.  I'm not saying do it if you don't really need to,  but if you are at a point that your health is suffering and you have seriously tried everything else, GO FOR IT.  It changes your life.  It will not be easy and you have to continue watching what you eat, but it is worth it.  If anyone needs to talk or has questions,  let me know.   [email protected]
