Happy New Year! Happy New Me!

Jan 05, 2009

I haven't kept a journal like most of you, but I have read yours. I have gone through what most people have gone through. And your blogs have really helped me. I am down 117 lbs, so I am really feeling good about myself. The pounds don't come off like they use to but I'm fine with the size I am now. I have gone from a size 28/30 to a 16. The doctors may not think that this is a healthy size, but I do. I work out 5 to 6 days a week. I have more energy than ever before. I'm going to try to make it to a 14 just in case I gain those 20 lbs Dr. Kligman told me about.

I haven't done everything I should have done. I like chocolate once a month so I buy sugar free chocolate. I have tried some without the free lol, but of course I got sick. This year I thought I would have a slice of cake. Big mistake! I told my husband to remind me of that day if I ever try to take another bite of anything sweet. I was hurting like never before. So, this year I will stick to my sugar-free sweets.

For those that are feeling down because you haven't done everything, no one is going to follow everything exactly. So if you are eating things that you shouldn't, exercise. I have learned to exercise no matter what. I still hate it, but I do it. Walk, run, or go to the gym, it's your choice. So stop downing yourself and get busy.

82 lbs down

Apr 14, 2008

I'm thirty pounds down and feeling great. It sometimes hard because I don't want to exercise in the morning and I'm tired when I get off work. I am making myself excercise right now. I go walking. Sometimes I'm not sure if I've eaten too much. I was told that I should only be eating 2 bites and be full. Well sometimes it may take 3 or 4 for me. I'm not sure if that normal. I just don't want to go backwards.
