Really Frustrated!
Aug 08, 2008
It has been 7 months since surgery. I have lost 70 pounds since I started this journey, which I am very thankful and excited for BUT I have been at a stand still at 180 lbs for 4 to 6 weeks. I am getting in protein, drinking water and watching the carbs but can't seem to get off this plateau! I exercise at Curves 3x a week for 45 minutes. Walk as well, but not sure what else to do! I'm only 25 pounds from my goal weight, but having a hard time getting there. Really frustrated and discouraged!! :(

5 months out
Jun 11, 2008
Hi to all,
It has been 5 months out and I have lost 67 pounds. I have found out that I can tolerate sugar with no problems no matter how much I eat. I never thought I would say this, but I wish I would have the "dumping" syndrome so I wouldn't want sugar any more. I just have to reach down deep and make my mind up that I can't and won't have sugar no matter what!! Sugar is my one weakness that I was really looking forward to not being able to tolerate! Guess the good Lord had something else in mind for me when it comes to that aspect. I have found that the last 30 pounds are not coming off as easy as the first 60, but I have started riding my bike and have gone back to Curves for more exercise so maybe that will jump start my body all over again!
