Since 1995 I've been on a weight roller coaster. I have been as small as a size 9/10 @ 178 lbs and now I'm at my largest weight ever 267lbs size 20/22. I started struggling with my weight right after I had my daughter in April 2000. I gained a total of 78 pounds during pregnancy lost 38 lbs during breast feeding and as you can see, I obviously gained it all back.
In the past I have tried numerous things from Atkins, cabbage soup diet, Adipex, eating in moderation, excercise, literally starving myself, Slim Fast, and an array of appetite suppressors. Of course I lost weight but I always managed to gain more than half of what I lost back. Today March 6, 2007 I decided I refuse to die young, grow older without a husband or let anyone intimidate me because I feel sooo fat. I have taken the first step to changing my life and it feels great. I look forward to my rewarding, new, energy filled life and I dont plan to look back. God has truly had favor over me with blessings this past year and I feel this is the next destined step in my life. I look forward to WLS and hope that I can help somone else who has doubts.
