My story is simply that I am a mother of six and a wife to a great husband. I have always struggled with my weight. I remember going to summer camp in the fifth grade on the nutrisystem diet. I am always looking out for the feelings and needs of everyone else. After not being able to ride a roller coaster last year at Busch Gardens in Tampa; I made a commitment to take care of myself. I had been wanting to have bariatric surgery for over three years but having insurance and finding the right doctors had never lined up perfect, until I found Dr. Gregory Mancini at the Ut Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. My surgery date was Feb 22nd, 2010 and this is only the beginning of my story...........
