26 Days Post-Op..Another procedure scheduled

Well today my Dr came to see me.. Of course it was after 4pm, since he was in surgery all day.  I had been dying to drink something but I had to wait for his orders.. But before we started I had asked him to close the door and I wanted 15 mins of his time so that I can let him know how I have been feeling and the way he had made me feel… So after we had our little talk I felt little bit better that I was able to release this burden off my chest.. 

So now it came down to the liquid diets.. I has asked him If I could take a sip of water before he left.. So I opened up the Dasani water took a sip and looked down at my drain.. I began to smile and looked up and said “No Leak”.. Not long after my smile appeared a frown and tears followed.. My Dr. for HIS first time seen the water go straight into my drain.. He promptly stated that he was going to do the procedure that he originally wanted to do, but couldn’t because of the stricture and dilation he had to do. 

So tomorrow at 6pm, I will be having a EDG w/ stent placement with possible seal. This procedure should last anywhere from 15-30min..Hopefully it will go smooth this time..
