Where do I begin?? I have always been on the heavy side. As a teenager I struggled with weight and here I am as an adult continuing to struggle. I have always been interested in WLS but like many others I thought there is no way I can afford it! So I went to school, received my nursing license and now I work in a great hospital that happens to perform WLS. My insurance actually covers 100%. I really am blessed to have the opportunity to do this. I was originally supposed to have gastric bypass in Dec '07 but instead I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks prior to my surgery date. So now I am blessed with a beautiful 13 month old baby girl. I couldn't be happier. So here I am again starting my journey again not only for myself but for my daughter! My surgery is just around the corner and I am beyond excited! I can't wait to start my new life. If there is anything else you would like to know just send me a msg.
