So I know I should update this more often but with everything that is going on I have really been too busy to sit and get some things down. BUT.....Today I have a little bit of time. SO>>>>>>>>>>ONLY 4 DAYS LEFT!!! I am so EXCITED!! OMG.....I can't believe this is actually getting ready to happen. I have always been the one with the bad luck so it is CRAZY that my luck and faith have helped me get this far. It also doesn't hurt that I have the GREATEST support system not only at home but here on OH. I've gotten pretty much everything that I need to get thru the hosp stay and the first week, after that we will see howmy taste buds change and then I will buy some more things. I was really surprised how fast Liberty Medical sends your orders. I ordered my calcium on Tues 10/30 and it came YESTERDAY!!!!!AMAZING! But I just wanted to get a quick update n here. I hope everyone is doing well and treckin along. GET READY FOLKS.........MOVE ON DOWN>........I'M WALKING TOWARDS THE LOSERS BENCH!!!!!!

So I decided today I was gonna call my insurance co to see if they had recvd the paperwork from the surgeons office and I got this response "well I show that there was a call put in but that it is still pending". I said thanks and decided I would call later today. Well I didn't wait that long (maybe 4 hours) and I decided to call back. Again I got this response "I show that there is a request pending and that they are looking for more information from your surgeons office" That is what I wanted to do. Well not 2 minutes later my office number rang and I was told I had a phone call from Dr. Spencers office. I picked up the line and it was Diana (surgery scheduler) and She said those 3 magic words....No not "I love you" but.....YOU ARE APPROVED!!!!! I instantaniously started crying!!!!! I guess I am the type of person who ALWAYS has the bad luck running around me. Well not this time folks!!!!! I am having all my WLS friends take a scoot down on the bench to make room for me!!!!! I am SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY TODAY!!!!!!!

So I am down to 46 days and a wake up from today for my surgery! My pre-ops are on Monday and then it it just a hurry up and wait for my approval. I can't begin to tell ya'll how nervous this is making me. Nervous that it may or may not be approved, Nervous about having surgery (never had it before), Nervous about not being fat for the rest of my life, NERVOUS ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!!!! I know that all these emotions are normal but GEEZ LOUISE!!!!!!! GIMME A BREAK! I just wanted to vent a little! I will update after my pre-ops on Monday. My computer is down at home so I have to use the one at work to update.

8/16/07-well today I think I have WLS on the brain way too much. I have been sitting here all day on the computer looking at profiles, before and after pictures and driving my co-workers nuts. It seems as if the time is dragging by. I again called Diana today (surgery scheduler) and asked if I needed to move my pre-op appts earlier and again she said no.  I know this time is great for me to learn even more about the surgery and what life will be like afterwards but it is SO EXTREMELY HARD TO BE PATIENT!!!!!!! I think I just need to go home and take a nice long . Not that I can sit comfortably in the tub...It was a nice thought. or I can just go home and . Now that would make my day. I better try to get some work done. I will update more frustration later...LOL
