My surgery went great!  No complications.  No pain just very nausaes for 24 hours after the surgery - probably meds. 

My energy is great.  I have lost 40lbs.  I think I should have lost more but I am adjusting to not eating as much (still try to poke it in some times - and puke!)  and not eating junk (like carbs) because I do not have the dumping issue....

I am not excersing regularly - and I know that would help speed this process up....

I miss how a large meal made me feel....but I am slowly getting over this.  Food(overeating) was how I coped with stress!  Finding another way to deal is slowly getting easier.

It's getting close and I am so excited and nervous.

I can't believe my surgery is only 17 days away.  I am so exicted.  I want to thank all my OH friends for their support! 

Now I am getting closer to my date to meet with the surgeon I am getting a lot of negative comments from some around me.  Like
*  you know I work with someone that knows three people that have had that surgery and they all gained all their weight back* 

The comments are hurtful and they fill me with lot's of seff doubt.  I am looking for long term statistics and ways to counter-comment when someone hits me with these type of comments.  I don't think that they are tring to be hurtful I think they are just scared for me to have the surgery....

I know this is what I need to DO!!!

I finally get to meet with my surgeon on Wednesday November 3rd.  Once I have met with him the insurance applicaiton will be filed.  Hopefully I will be approved and my surger date will be given.  I am so excited about taking this journey. 

I am attending a seminar Thursday night.  How long does the process take with Cigna insurance in the Memphis area?  I can't find any information on what to expect as far as getting approved by insurance.
