My dear, dear MJ!
I'm so super excited for you to take this next step in your journey. You have come so far already, I can't wait to see you blossom as you shed the weight and hopefully many layers of grief that being overweight seems to burden us with. I can just see this beautiful butterfly emerging from a thick and tough cacoon. I see her spreading her wings for the first time and beginning to flap those gorgeous wings up and down preparing herself for flight. January 4th, 2008 is the day you get to fly honey! I can't wait to see you soar for many many miles and flutter about leaving bits of wisdom and care and concern with everyone you come in contact with, much like you do now - but then it will be with even a bigger, open heart!
I know having this surgery and all that goes with it comes with a great deal of worry and concern - just remember that God is always beside you, holding your hand and at times carrying you. He will NEVER leave you and neither will any of your OH friends. I, along with all of your OH friends, am SO proud of you already! And the best it yet to come.
Good luck my dear friend! I will be saying many prayers that the surgery is quick and the pain is minimal. I will pray that God guides your surgeon's hands; taking care every moment to guide your through a successful and uneventful surgery.
I love you dearly MJ and can't wait to see you Friday evening if you're up to it!
Love, Tracy
