Lisa, send me a note on my profile. For some reason outlook is not pulling up. Could be another darn virous. I want to know how everything is going. What did the doc say on the 12th?? Lisa, Hi I am too am in the process of getting approved. I am roughly around 10 lbs underweight so I am eating to gain to reach a bmi of 40. I can honestly say I have never been in the situation where I do not weigh enough. I am nervous about getting approved. I have been going to my pcp for over 4 yrs to try to loose weight and was not successful. My pcp does not think I will have a problem, however she is not in my shoes. If you have to wear heavy clothes and enjoy eating your favorite foods for awhile. I can honestly say I have enjoyed every bite. Good luck and keep me posted, as I will try to do the same. By the way I am also in Florida, Jacksonville. Take Care

Lisa, thanks for responding to my question. When are you having surgery? You probably know, as I said in my question, BCBS will not pay for this surgery as of Jan. 2005, so you better get it this year if your want insurance to pay! I heard Dr. Terracina is moving in June, but his partner, Dr. Wilson, is now performing the surgery as the primary surgeon. Good luck in your journey! Keep me in touch!
