I called UHC and they told me I was approved, hopefully will find out a date for the surgery on Tuesday!

Got my surgery date today, 9/21/2006, my new birthday!! I hope I am able to watch the season premier of Grey's Anatomy that night! LOL

My surgery is getting closer, not really nervous just anxious to get it past me and on my way to a better life. I'm going to put Henna tattoos on my feet, give the people at the hospital something to talk about. LOL!

I had my surgery on 9/21 and I am 6 days out, down 12 lbs. I am still on clear liquids and starving!! Go back to doc on Friday (2 days, 6 hrs, 31 mins) LOL I never thought I would be looking forward to having cream of wheat but I am keeping my eye on the end result.

Can't believe it has been a month since I posted but anyway, I am down 31 lbs, in just 5 weeks. I am 5'9" tall. Food is still a bit of a struggle meaning not really wanting to eat but make myself anyway. Getting my protein in but struggle with the water. Life is good.

I was finally able to go to Outback last night, it was soooo good! I ordered as usual but now I have 3 or 4 meals from it. I am down 38 lbs and feeling great. I am very lucky, I have had no problems whatsoever, it has all been good. My short term goal is 50 lbs by Christmas, big reveal to my mother when she comes for Christmas. God has truly blessed me through this surgery and I am so thankful.
