5 years out

and feeling AWESOME!!!

I have gotten from 286 down to 125 and holding steady.  I still get dumping syndrome, but you know sometimes the specific craving is so strong it is worth it.  haha.
I highly recommend this surgery to everybody who has the willpower and the strength to use the tool that is given to you. Unfortunately, there are folks out there who want the surgery thinking it will all take care of itself, and of course you need to do what is needed.
I so miss corn on the cob, I do however will "suck"the juice out of a cob left after my Husband finishes an ear.  Got to have a taste at least.

I was hoping that my insurance would cover the panni I need, but I will until they will cover it or I have the money, until then,  I just tuck, tuck, tuck.
I am actually in a size 4 in jeans...  YAHOO  smallest size I've ever been in.  I think if I could remove the skin, I would be great in a 3 though.
  Shirts:  I'm in a small from a 2x.
I am going to get a tattoo of a butterfly with the date of my surgery and pre surgery weight, to show my rebirth.  It is so totally worth everything I've had to give up. I have self confidence now.  I feel free to go out in public without fear of being abused by hateful words and looks.
If you are considering this surgery, take a good look at your eating habits, know yourself of your willpower and willingness to give up certain items and if you think you can change it all go do it, it can be the best you have felt in years!!!
