Well I went for that lovely long ass drive to Michigan yesterday, not to mention the I 75 is all screwed up cuz of the construction.  In anycase we found where we needed to be with lots of time to spare.  I learned alot more that I didnt know about the Gastric Bypass.  Needless to say I'm SUPER crazy excieted to get this done.  This is where I'm at, I need to contact my refering Dr so he can fax some stuff to OHIP to approve the out of country surgery and once they are done that and OHIP sends out the letters telling them of the approval we can set a date. YAHOO!  Now I just need to find someone to come with me for the 2 days... thats the tricky part... Anyways Im out, got things to do...

Well my friend gave me the Herbal Magic Diet so I was doing AMAZING on it. Hard as all hell but I was doing it.  I called my Drs office to make an appointment for my son and the receptionist was like I need to talk to you when you come in about your referal... I was like what the hell are you talking about?  She said we would talk when I get there.  So I get there and GUESS WHAT?!?  I GOT MY REFERAL FOR GASTRIC BYPASS!  So freaking excited!  So I called the clinic down in Michigan and I have a consult all book for April 27th.  Cant wait!

Well I have no clue what Im supposed to do.  I have consulted not only my family Dr but 2 other Drs as well and they just keep saying " The wait list is too long you might as well starve yourself"  Like honestly what the hell is that?!  Its one thing to say "Starve yourself"  its another to do it... like thats gonna work?  Does anyone have any suggestions on what I might do as Im getting no where with these stupid Drs?
