hi lora!! congratulations on the date of january 16th..that's my date too!! :) so i just had to write to you and tell you i wish you the very best with your surgery..here's to a safe,complication free surgery and to a safe,speedy recovery.. have great holidays..my surgery is at 7:30 am pacific time.is yours in the a m too?? it's really cool to post to someone with the same date as myself..good luck with everything!! take care, jeanne/ca.

Lora, many good wishes and warm thoughts are being sent your way as you begin your journey to a new and healthy life! I am almost 5 months out and have lost 70 lbs., feel so much better, take so much less medication, and feel it was all worth it. The toughest part is the first 8 weeks, healing from the surgery and learning how to eat, once you pass that mark, you will feel terrific. Just remember, WALK, WALK, WALK, DRINK, DRINK, DRINK, and PROTEIN, PROTEIN, PROTEIN!!

Lora....congrats on your up and coming surgery. I just had my own surgery on Oct 30th and I just got back to Ft Wainwright...please get in touch with me...it will be nice to meet some more people. 356-2512

Hi Lora! I hope you get your approval soon. i looked into haveing surgery with Dr. Leport and i really liked him but my insurance would only approve another doctor. I hope everything works out. i was really impressed with how they schedule everything together for his patients that come from out of town. I wish you the best and good luck.
