Back home....so happy

Hello everyone,
Well I'm back home (yesterday, July 6, 09) from having my open RNY revision surgery. It's been an experience that I vaguely remember from the first VBG surgery I had in 1993. The things I remember, well, having the nurses make me get up the first night I had surgery to stand up, having to walk, walk, walk, oh, let's not forget the waking up coughing at night ...ouch.
But I'm home now and healing day by day. I've lost I'd say around 20 lbs just from being in the hospital. Had my son go pick up as much of my medications as he could. The store didn't have one of them that I really need. I have a appointment next week to get my staples out and the following week to get my g tube out. You want to know the one thing I can't wait for ....a bubble bath, a long long hot bubble bath. I'm going to try to keep up the walking by venturing outside later today just to the corner of my street. Walk, Walk, Walk...OK Lilliangs snap out of it...LOL...
I'm not hungry, my doctor wants me to stay on liquids until longer than normal because of it being a revision, but he was so cool. When I first went in for a consult, he was like "you know you won't lose like you did the first time"., now he's like " you are going to lose so much weight", he was have, when he opened me up realized the mess that was in there...
Well I'm going to fidget around the house, I'm alone so i'm going sturr crazy, can't wait to be able to drive next week. I did ask my doctor when I could ride my motorcycle again, and his remark was when you get to 150 lbs. LOL...gotta love my doc.

Tomorrow is the big day!

Well, after a long journey, my surgery date is finally here.
I will be taken into surgery tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. Have to be at the hospital at 6 a.m., so I guess I'll be going to bed alittle early tonight.
This was an interesting day, having only liquids. Seemed like everything on TV had to do with food, so I did laundry, and other stuff to occupy my time.
