Wow summer is almost gone.  I'm coming up on my surgiversary.  First, I'm  off on the Obesity cruise with Terri.  I'm excited to go on my first cruise.  I've lost from 289 to 201.  I cannot get below 200 at this time.  I know it's because of the excess carbs.  After the cruise I'm going back on liquids and try to drop those extra 25 lbs.

I'm VERY happy the way I am.  I feel so much better.  I have more energy and stamina.  Now I can shop til I drop and walk walk walk!

my hair is starting to grow back in so I got it cut short.  I need to upload a recent pic.  Maybe I'll have one from the cruise.

November 28 will be one year out for me.  Thanks to the support of so many people, friends, co-workers, and family, I am a success story!  xo to all, Linda

New Year, New ME!  I'm down almost 50 lbs. and feeling pretty good.  Thursday will be 2 weeks from having the g-tube out and so I can get back into water aerobics.  With my knee, I have not been able to exercise much.

I'm feeling pretty good, with some morning sickness, but I feel better after I eat lunch.  

So far I have not dumped.  I have eaten too fast or too much and had that awful feeling.  

It's hard to remember to chew everything 30 times and space the eating and drinking.  I try to get it all in, but sometimes there are just not enough hours in the day.

Surgery is scheduled for Nov. 28.  Insurance wouldn't approve the sleeve so I'm getting the gastric bypass.  At present on the liquid pre op diet. 

Hi!  I have been searching for people who have had the sleeve gastrectomy.  If you have had that surgery, please let me know how it went.  If you are willing, I have some questions.   I'd really appreciate talking to someone who has had it. 

I have jumped though all the hoops and waiting for my surgery date.  Hoping to have it happen late in November.    Thanks for letting me share my story.  Linda
