"My initial impression of Dr. Khan was good. I did some research on him to see what experience he had and felt good about what I learned. His office is nice and the staff is very nice and helpful.
From the time I first saw him and my actual surgery, it was 9 months, so he didn't remember me, but that would be expected. He explained all of the details of the surgery and reassured me that what I was doing was to benefit my overall health and extend my life. His bedside manner in the hospital was good, and he came in on both Saturday & Sunday to check on me.
There is a structured after care visit program, but so far there hasn't been alot of support group activity that I've been told about.
