Hello, I am 6 months post op. I had my surgery 11/12/07...This day changed my life forever
! I weighed 314lbs on the day of my surgery. I can't begin to tell you the medical problems related to my being obeese. I had severe asthma, sleep apnea, tired all the time back hurt, knees hurt. I could not walk a block. I am so happy to say today I weigh 206.. Walk everywhere, I no longer have asthma , nor do I have sleep apnea! I have so much energy, I never thought I could feel this good! My back does not hurt nor do my knees. I am the healthiest I have ever been. To anyone who has suffered with being obeese and everything you have ever tried has failed...there is hope. I had the most wonderful Dr and staff that has taken great care and shown me the way to a healthier life. My surgeon is Dr. Micheal Snyder and his wonderful team at Denver Bariatrics. I am happy to say that I have a lot to look forward to. I am no longer the home body I used to be. I am me only more outgoing and much smaller and healthier. I can honestly say had I not gone to Dr. Snyders seminar on that fatefull March 07 day, I don't know where I would be today.
