Hi...I'm Olivia and I'm 23 years old. I have always been overweight but was able to hide it well until about 4 years ago. I started becoming depressed and started having foot and ankle injuries. Everything seemed to be going down the drain. Then my father decided to get gastric bypass surgery and I was with him through the whole procedure and recovery. I watched the weight drop off of him and how his world changed and I made the desicion to do it as well. It was the best decision I ever made. After 3 years of trying and failing to get the surgery (insurance reasons) I finally got the call that I was approved and in the span of 3 days I was scheduled for surgery. I'm not in my 2nd week of recovery and things are great. I'm already down 14lbs. I can't wait to see where my life is headed.
