L My hubby drives for Zumstien (out of Lewisburg, Ohio) they use Antehm BCBS ppo, they didn't hesitate to cover my surgery (they pay 80%) Just thought I'd share. God bless. Jamie

Thanks for answering my question about the class action suit. I too have BCBSTN and it does indeed suck (and not in a good way). I know that is gross, but at this point I have to take my laughs where I can get them. I am in Memphis and I am working on a home equity loan. The MED wants 32K. UT will probably want all of their money upfront too. I've been quoted a cost of $52K. Oh, don't worry about wanting to pay upfront. Most places will insist upon it. Good luck on your journey!

Hi L i had the adjustable lap band and i self paid with my credit card as i decided that i could not wait (In england it would have taken me about 2 years before i could have it done for free on the NHS) i worked it out that i would rather be in debt for pounds sterling than the usual 20 plus pounds heavier at the end of the year - i expect to have paid this back in about a year and i know that my weight problem was the most worrying in my life. i am not a rich person at all and i am very responsible with money but i decided that this was the most important thing to get sorted and im glad i done it kind regards

Hello L... Personally, I think that a person should always pay attention to their "gut feeling". That is your intuition, your built in "psychic ability"!! Listen to what you are hearing from "within" and go with what you know you should. God talks to us in many ways...this is one of them. Love and light,
