I finally made my appiontment for my first consultation with the surgeon. I already know that my surgery is covered by my insurance and I don't have to go through the 6 more months of recorded diets. As of right now I am very excited to get the ball rolling to find the real me in here. But I am also very scared because this is the point where they have to make sure you understand all of the risks and complications. I don't get to use the surgeon I originally wanted because he does not participate my insurance, so I had to pick one of the other surgeons in his office. Hopefully I made the right decision! I GUESS WE'LL FIND OUT! (cause I definately don't have the money to pay for this operation myself!) Wish me luck and say a prayer!

I have finished all of my appts. and delt with the insurance company and guess what??? I HAVE A SURGERY DATE!!! February 22, 2008 will be the beginning of the new me! This is a date that I personally chose. I did not want to have the surgery before the holidays and take a chance of setting myself up for failure! I also know that after the surgery is the most crucial time for losing the weight so knowing that I wanted to go into spring with a new start. A fresh start! When the weather will begin to break and I can enjoy losing this extra person by being outdoors! Where I can exercise, exercise and EXERCISE!!! If I am stuck inside during the cold months of Winter I will most likely sit in front of the t.v and I don't want that to happen. I want to get the most form this operation! And I am getting very excited the closer it gets! Everyone says "aren't you scared?" And I say " I was but when you think about it...The Lord is gonna take me when he wants me! Whether I'm on the surgeoon's table or walkin down the street! If I don't do something about this now, I'm gonna go way before my time!!!" I want to live to see my child grow up and suceed, and see my marriage blossom, and to one day have grandchildren! And now I know I/m on my way to do that!!! Watch out world!!
