On Feb. 10, 2004 Dr.Valles set me up to have a gynecologist at my RNY surgery to remove what turned out to be about a 13 pound tumor/cyst in the abdominal area, then proceeded to have a full hysterectomy, tumor came out cancer free, gall bladder was removed and the stomach surgery completed. The entire staff of physicians and nurses were great and helped keep me positive through it all. Recovery is much longer and energy still much lower than I hoped for but I'm down about 62 pounds going into my 8th week post op. Thank you everyone for the many prayers and support, its so great to have this site to communicate and get help from. God Bless you all!

Thank you all for your great wishes! Today is actually my surgery date but I was postponed yesterday due to a mass they were unable to identify. Later I was told it was a large cyst and they would let me know what happens next. If they can coordinate 2 surgeons to do different operations at the time they open me. So now I'm just hanging on!! Keep me in your prayers, thanks Lori
