This is my first time blogging.  I had the LapBand surgery on October 14, 2008.  Everything went well but I did have very bad gas pain.  A little over a week later it is now pretty much subsided.  I went in for my first post op appt. yesterday and I have lost 11 pounds since my pre op visit 2 weeks prior to the surgery.  I was very pleased with that.  I don't feel like I've lost any but I know in time I will be able to tell.  I am so excited about the change in my future.  Thank you to all my friends and family that are so supportive of me in this endevour.  God Bless everyone.
