This is Karen, Joan's angel. Joan's surgery went very well and she has come through it fine. I spent most of the day with her and her family yesterday and she is alert and talking. As a matter of fact all she kept saying was " I did it , I really did it." She was having some pain but her pca pump was helping. I went to see her again today and she had her swallow test. They removed her N/G tube and should be moving her out of ICU soon. She was even able to get out of bed and sit in a chair for a while. Joan wanted me to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers, they are greatly appreciated. We are hoping that she will be home by the weekend and will hopefully feel up to updating everyone soon.

In all things Remember,that the one above loves you,that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you,that you be given strength, endurance,love,peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room,know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too.
