I am so happy these days , it is not only the weight loss , it is just feeling better physically and emotionally. I am 2 months out and through the whole process i have lost 33 lbs. I am approaching being under 200 lbs. I cant remember the last time that happened, it is very emotional for me to think about , i know that sounds crazy but until now it has only been a dream . I truly feel in many ways, lapband surgery has saved my life. I can feel myself becoming more confident , i dont want to hide at home anymore , i want to get out and enjoy life and meet new people . It is the best decision i have ever made , and i hope i can help others as you and Dr Gornichec have helped me .

I had my lap band surgery on nov.8, i feel very blessed to have had an easy successful surgery and so far an easy recovery . I cant believe this has finally happened. I am so grateful to my friends and family for their support and love. I could have never done this on my own . A special thanks to all of my new friends here on the board, i look forward to meeting all of you , since now we are bonded together forever !!

At long last , i have a date , Thursday November 8 , i expect that is when the truly hard work begins and i say goodbye to my old life . I embrace all i have been through to get to this point and i am excited about the future for the first time in a very long time , i would like to thank all my old friends and my new friends for their love and support. The journey continues.......

Hi everyone , My name is Luanne , i am 46 , just had my birthday!! I decided about 2 or 3 weeks ago to look into weight loss surgery . Since then I have talked to alot of people and done alot of reading . I am well on my way , I have set up testing and have already had my psych. eval , which was very interesting . I always knew i used food as a crutch but i didnt realize how much , as he said you are about to get rid of your friend of 46 years!! It gave me alot to think about , but i know i am ready to start living again. I know it will be hard but i am up for it!!!
