Well so ready to start this process to make me feel like I'm working towards something. I called my coordinator for Dr. Kim's office and asked her what I could do between now and January to get the ball rolling. She told me to go ahead and schedule a 3 month weight management with my pcp. My first appointment is Sept. 1. My pcp already knows I'm looking into WLS so hopefully no disappointments. I've heard some pcp's decline their patients and refuse to write a referral letter. I hope I'm not in that category. I talked my mom into trying to go through the process again and she's due for Oct surgery if everything goes well with her insurance company. My mom does not have a page so I'll try and put a few words in for her and any accomplishments along the way. I told her I was jealous. I was just joking with her but actually happy. Wish we could do it together but I know her adrenaline in on high now.
