2005 I was in the worst shape in my life.i was a diabetic with a a1c of 11.5 ,my blood suger was always 500 and my legs and knees were giving out on me.sleep apnea .blood pressure was stroke level and this was with taking meds.i think i was taking about 12 meds and insulin.major shots 100 units 3 times a day really was not working. it was when my higene became a problem i knew i had a problem.gastric bypass scared me to death.it was my last resort.because i was dying and i knew it.i had went to the seminar and my wife and i left half way through the seminar.but i signed in so legally i went to the seminar.i was scared ,they say you can die from different reasons ex. infections blood clots,black bowl,many more. so it was about two months later i was hallusinating because my suger level was so hi my meter could not read it. It was then ii made the choice to have it done. had to lose twenty pounds before i had it so i could do it laproscopic ,Dr. NEASE asked me if Ican't do it lapro do you want me to contive to open you and do it. i can rememer like it was yesterday I told him that you start and have to open me you just do it right so i never have to be opened again.well he had to open me up.i was 423 pounds at that time.i havelost 140 pounds.thats what the surgery itself has done. it's a tool and you have to use it as a tool.surgery works to an extent them it your turn ,the tool is there u have to work to lose weight and it does.i have lost 21 since christmas i havent starved myself i have exercised.nothing major just a little tread mill and some little weights.i have had great results and it has taken me a while to get were i am.i didn't want to lose it as fast as i can .i didn't want that skin problem alot of people get. i may have to have some work on my gut but thats about it .i was huge.my family was very supportive and my children and im glad i will be around for them for awhile loger.but the lord sent me to DR.NEASE AND I AM THANKFULL THAT HIS HAND SAVED MY LIFE!I HOPE THIS MAY BE INSPIREING FOR SOMEONE.DON HENRY
