my bypass was 28 days ago and everything has been fairly smooth untill last few days...I am on phase 3 with my diet which is applesauce consistancy food...Now all of a sudden when i drink anything ,even water or eat and it feels like i got a big air bubble down there or something is just sitting there.... I start burping and up comes what i ate or drink ... most of the time it's foamy and bitter tasting...now i'm afraid to eat anything or drink...anybody have this happen? Or have any ideas why?

I'm a newbie here..66 years old and my insurance was just ok to pay for my WLS...I've never had surgery of any kind

before...what can i expect about the pain level after surgery and should i worry about my age?

Hi , I'm a new member..Just got my paper work sent and call back from the Bariatric Clinic that my insurance ok'd my surgery...It's in a Hospital in Springfield , MO... They will be schuduling a app. with surgeon and we will decide which procedure is best for me... sleeve or bypass...i am leaning more toward bypass.....Any input on this ? 

   Also i am 66 years old and have never had any kind of surgery , so I'm worried ans scared.
