My story, well I am 22 years old, and used to be an active upbeat teenager. Then no matter what I did I gained, and gained and gained some more weight. All through school including high school I danced 3 times a week played soccer and ran track. I could go for years without my menstrual cycle and there was not a doctor who wanted to help me. I finally found out I had hypothyroidism when I was 16, and shortly after found out I had PCOS. I became less active with work and school which seemed to be more important at the time and just continued to gain weight. So I finally began to explore my options this year when I was about to round 250lbs and was looking like I was 15 months pregnant... yes kids, I said 15 months lol I have a terrible cold as I am writing this but as soon as I get better I am off to the gym for the first time in my life. I turn around in the mirror and see what my butt looks like and I get oh so depressed. You used to be able to pop a quater off it... not any more. I want to get back to being toned and muscular. At least to the point where I feel like I look good in my clothes.

I am doing good thank God. No complications and I pray it stays that way. I am currenty down 45 lbs. I weighed in at 241 the day of my surgery and I am down to 196. I remember when I was 180lbs and looked nice... a lot more toned then I am now, but I looked good. That is what I weighed when I met my bf. So all is well so far, and I hope it stays that way.
