Hey! My name is Ashley. I currently live at BAFB with my husband and daughter. I am scheduled for Gastric Bypass surgery on the 21st of August. This has been a long process coming. I first started this by begging my regular doctor to give me a referral to see a bariatric surgeon. I seen Dr. Stephanie Barnes within the next month after I recd the referral. I went to one of their seminars. They were very knowledgable in what they do. It was very helpful to me as I decided I wanted the actual bypass instead of opting for the lap-band (which my insurance didnt cover anyways). I am very excited right now. I am counting the days till when I can have surgery. It has taken 6 months to finally have this dream come true.
